Two Worlds United

12 May
2009

Brazil is a great place to visit and an even better place to study.  Two Worlds United offers programs for high school exchange students.  Many students choose Two Worlds United Summer Exchange programs because of the flexibility of dates and choice of destination city.  Students who prefer a longer stay and are interested in non-specific locations within Brazil choose the Two Worlds United Semester or Academic Year Programs.   Brazil´s diversity and great growth potential also characterize its educational system. Comprising kindergarten, elementary school, secondary school, vocational secondary school and higher education, the Brazilian educational system can offer quality education at all levels. In higher education alone, 5 million students are enrolled in the more than 23,000 programs available.

Over 2,000 private and public schools offer higher education programs with domestic and international recognition for quality. The University of São Paulo (USP), for instance, ranked 196 in the list of the best universities of the world published by the Times Higher Education in 2008. The University of Campinas (Unicamp) ranked 203 and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro ranked 305 in the 2007 list. The State University of São Paulo (UNESP) and the Federal University of Minas Gerais also rank among the top 500 universities in the world. They are all public universities.

Each Summer Two Worlds United welcomes high school students to beautiful Ireland.  As a Two Worlds United student in Ireland you’ll visit the most famous sites as well as some of the lesser known but extraordinary sites.
